„Your feet will bring you to where your heart is.”
Programme
Arriving to camp and settle into the accommodation is on July 2, Sunday, before 15:00 CET. At 15:00, we hold our “Camp Opener”, where everybody gets to know which teacher and dance class they will have for the week.
During the week, we offer (at least) 5 hours of dancing per day. In the morning, we have 120 minutes long Irish dance technique classes with an assigned teacher. These technique classes are divided by dance level (from beginner to open), include light and heavy drills, and choreography.
In the afternoon, we have 3 x 60 minutes classes in rotation with each of the teachers. The theme of these classes varies, typically we have céili, stretching, strengthening, hard shoe rhythm and other dance styles.
In the evening, we have community activities, e.g. games, camp fire, quiz night, movie night etc.
In the middle of the week, we have a rest day, during which we attend a thermal spa in the vicinity. There are multiple types of thermal pools, but also normal pools, water slide, children’s pool etc.
On Saturday, we still have a morning class, lunch, and afterwards we travel home.
